When, if ever, should cloning be considered a morally and scientifically viable option in American society?
The subject of cloning is a difficult one to describe. Imagine two people walking down the street, who are identical in every way. Not only are they indistinguishable from each other visually, but internally, they are precisely the same. This conundrum could be created using a process called “cloning”, a subject surrounded by controversy since its inception as an idea.
Some think that cloning is a revolutionary premise, that could save lives and increase the national survival rate. Others believe that cloning is a crime against man, and that no human should ever attain such power. This is the central focus of our debate.
