A Message from the Principal.

As we begin the second half of our 2007-2008 school year it seems like a good time to reflect on what our students have accomplished and what exciting endeavors await them as they finish a very successful year. The students of Washington and Lee High School have distinguished themselves not just in the classroom but also on the athletic fields and various other competition areas. Our students have represented W & L well and are representative of the quality of our educational community.

During the fall semester we had several colleges and universities come to the high school to meet our students and conduct on-site admissions to many of these schools. The admissions representatives from these schools have been very impressed by our students and look forward to returning in the spring to speak with our juniors. We will be holding spring parent information nights with several of the colleges to help in the application process.

We look forward to the achievements and accomplishments of our students this spring and anticipate great things from our sports, performing arts, and academic teams as they move through their respective seasons.

Congratulations to our Boys Basketball Team on a Championship season.

Congratulations to our Girls Basketball Team on a very impressive season.

Good Luck to both teams in the District and Regional playoffs.
